February 28th, 2010The final Spontaneous Act of Music in my month long commitment went down with a room full of hockey fans at the James Bay Inn. We were singing O’Canada after the Canadian mens hockey team won the gold medal in the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics.

February 27th, 2010This time I went at about 10:30 and played some O’Canada in front of the Safeway near my house which has both an overhanging roof for protection from the rain and a liquor store across the parking lot which might be why it gets a lot of night traffic. Tonight shoppers got a randomly patriotic, olympic double bass playing O’Canada to talk about with their late night groceries.
